The energy-neutral office building of Van Hoorebeke Timber in Desteldonk dates from 2018. The cafeteria was furnished with stackable Paris bar and dining chairs made of polypropylene from the Belgian brand Perfecta, in anthracite. These four-legged chairs can be customised to the client’s preferences: both the seat shell and the legs are available in various colours.
We also installed custom-made banquettes in this area, upholstered in Silvertex fabric in the colour Mandarin. This fabric is waterproof and UV-resistant.
In the waiting area, we placed comfortable Hendrix lounge chairs with both high and low backs. The high-back chairs are green and offer more privacy than the low-back grey ones. All armchairs feature a sled-shaped metal base in anthracite. They are arranged around black Triple coffee tables with three-legged anthracite bases. The tabletops are either round or rounded triangles.
A little further along, a more private corner was created using two high-backed seating elements, positioned around two round black Triple coffee tables. Thanks to the clever design of the seating, peripheral vision is blocked and ambient noise is reduced. The three-legged bases are finished in anthracite and the upholstery is bright orange.
For the workstations, Buro International supplied several white BIVO Duo Bench desks, which are electrically height-adjustable. These high-quality and stable sit-stand desks are equipped with acoustic divider panels in orange tones to enhance both privacy and concentration.
As office chair, the black ergonomic Every from Interstuhl was selected. This comfortable swivel chair with armrests features a mesh backrest, auto-lift mechanism, and adjustable lumbar support and seat depth.
We also supplied the black HÅG Capisco Puls 8020 chair. With its lightweight plastic frame and additional seat cushion, this chair combines modern design with ergonomic performance. It offers comfortable support in any working posture from sitting to standing making it ideal for a flexible and stylish work environment.
The white acoustic sliding-door cabinets with a soft-close system are not only user-friendly, they also feature an acoustic back panel. In addition, the sliding doors are made of sound-absorbing acoustic felt, helping to reduce ambient noise in the office and contributing to a calm and productive workspace. The cabinets are also equipped with a practical hanging file frame.
In the meeting rooms, Buro International installed stackable Buddy conference chairs from Interstuhl. These comfortable chairs, with black sled bases, feature an elegant design and a breathable netweave backrest with grey upholstery.
We also supplied a long rectangular black Fenix conference table, providing a sleek and functional centrepiece for team meetings.
