Projectreferentie - House of HR - Kortrijk
For this project we also took care of the painting and a lot of bespoke work, and provided fun extras: from benches to a cloakroom unit, a printer unit and a rounded bar unit, to a kitchen and a tribune, disco balls, rugs, colourful cushions, curtains and even a pool table, a dartboard and a few indoor swings!
On the ground floor, the NOOM furniture in soft pastel shades with wooden legs is a real eye-catcher. The Flock collection was designed by Kateryna Sokolova and is characterised by rounded silhouettes, sensual and comfortable shapes and soft fabrics. ‘Flock’ refers to coming together: the collection aims to create a peaceful, homely, warm oasis in every space where people gather, which makes it ideal for the central hall of House of HR! The furniture instantly creates a sense of intimacy here. There is a lovely mix of the Flock Lounge Chair, the Flock Ottoman and the Freyja Coffee Tables in different heights. The NOOM Low Chair was also used in two different heights, along with the NOOM Bar Chair.
As the office chair, the elegant AC 5 Studio by Antonio Citterio and Vitra was chosen, in a cream colour with a polished aluminium base on castors and aluminium ring armrests. We also delivered the AC 5 Work with adjustable lumbar support, in the same colour.
The Interstuhl Joyce with black upholstery and a mesh backrest also serves here as an excellent ergonomic and adjustable office chair with an elegant design, around the FAMO: Mahia desks. Oval tables, bench tables, lunch tables and round and large meeting tables were also supplied by the Portuguese design leader FAMO.
The unique Eco Senses Cabinet locker system by FAMO combines functional quality with aesthetic simplicity. The large lacquered wooden cabinets with hinged doors and the modern side cabinets are also by FAMO.
From the Italian brand Pedrali, several simple and functional stainless steel tables with a round top were used. The timeless, graceful stackable NEMEA chairs by Pedrali also come into their own here. They have solid ash legs and a seat and backrest in ash plywood with a cast aluminium frame.
A few comfortable, rounded Olsan Medium beanbags, designed by Anita Kars for Casalis, once again create a lounge feel that perfectly suits the atmosphere at House of HR.
The electrified and easily movable Hush Office serves as the perfect double, self-contained, compartmentalised and private workspace with outstanding acoustics. Each section has its own sofa, work table, lighting and ventilation. The mobile Hush Meet double acoustic meeting room (with an external bookcase) can also be found here.
We also delivered six black aluminium and teak picnic tables, along with black and dark grey parasols with a granite base. The copper-brown Extremis Virus picnic table designed by Belgian designer Dirk Wynants also found a spot here, together with a matching copper-brown parasol. A few black Linear Steel benches by Muuto also come in handy.
