In designing the offices of Schneider Electric in Waregem, the focus was on creating various open areas to enable different teams to collaborate efficiently. This approach resulted in dedicated work zones, focus areas, and height-adjustable desks. The colour palette was tailored to the company’s corporate branding. Modern design and practical comfort go hand in hand here. The open layouts and varied workspaces promote collaboration, while the carefully chosen colours and textures create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where people feel at ease.
A cosy work corner was created using grey upholstery on medium- and high-back sofas. These consist of three-seater elements with a black base, offering the necessary level of privacy. The clever design helps reduce peripheral vision and blocks ambient noise. A black side table with a central spinner column base is positioned between the seating elements.
For the main workstations, Buro International supplied several white BIVO Duo Bench desks, which are electrically height-adjustable. These are high-quality, stable sit-stand desks equipped with acoustic divider panels. As office chairs, the choice fell on the black ergonomic JET II Net Classic. These chairs feature functional armrests, a black mesh backrest, soft wheels, and an adjustable seat depth.
Several white height-adjustable MAHIA desks from Famo were also installed, along with a number of Mahia tables both rectangular and round with tabletops and legs in various colours.
A closed-off phone booth features a black UPis1 height-adjustable wobble stool from Interstuhl, offering dynamic seating in a compact format.
The practical grey Acta.Plus pharmacy cabinets (with white handles) and the Acta hinged door cabinets (with angular white loop handles) are from König + Neurath.
Around the meeting tables, black Stick Chairs with sled bases were placed. These chairs are comfortable, versatile, and feature armrests and a flexible mesh backrest. Their minimalist design makes them easy to stack—perfect for dynamic meeting environments.
In the cafeteria area, long white MAHIA tables with black legs were paired with Oscar canteen chairs on four round black legs. The chosen colour is laminate/anthracite. These chairs are lightweight, durable, and ideal for frequent use. Buro International also supplied Oscar chairs for other spaces in adapted colours such as laminate/purple, and also in a sled base version in green and purple.
