Accent Drongen

The first thing the visitor notices at Accent in Drongen is the cozy, warm atmosphere, which is mainly created by the earth tones used. They match wonderfully with the brick ceiling and the black framing of windows and doors. A beautiful harmony was found with the rural style of the building.

Customization was often used for this project: all kinds of plasterboard walls, such as the arched wall at the entrance, were installed. We also took care of the painting work.

A large round silver-colored mirror was hung near the entrance. The striking wine red U-shaped sofa with rounded corners at the entrance is custom-made. This bench surrounds a beautiful and elegant Corto Dining Table from Ethnicraft in brown varnished oak. The Wall Shelf Pi from Ethnicraft is also an eye-catcher in this room.

Customization was also used extensively in the extremely cozy kitchen. A natural carpet with a black border covers the floor. Minimalist Soft Edge bar stools from HAY were placed around the very successful bar. They are a collaboration between Hay and Iskos-Berlin: the designer duo Aleksej Iskos and Boris Berlin. A nice rounded bench was designed for the other side of the kitchen area. Three natural-colored chairs in teak and wicker are arranged along a custom-made walnut table. They complete the picture.

Meeting tables and cabinets in walnut were custom-made for the meeting place on the ground floor. The stylish AAC office chair with a beautiful beige upholstered seat and a black powder-coated swivel base from HAY exudes tranquility. We also provided warm gray acoustic panels.

Walls were placed along the beautiful existing stairs. On the top floor we provided flexible workstations with our sit-stand tables and the electric ACTIVE.T Bench from König + Neurath , these double benches have a top in walnut color. The center panels were given a cover in light gray fabric and black was chosen for the side cover and frame. The office chairs come from Accent stock, but they underwent a thorough cleaning and were given a 'Second Life'. The carpenter provided a cupboard wall under the sloping roof and carpets and curtains were also provided.

In a separate meeting room behind a glass wall, a black conference table with a Fenix top and Ikon base was custom-made. The deep black polypropylene classics from Vitra , the Panton Chairs (new height - designed by Verner Panton in 1960), stand around it. The curved lines of these design icons are reminiscent of seated people. They are extremely comfortable and look great here.
