The Chisel Lounge Chair, designed by Andreas Bergsaker for HAY, is a contemporary interpretation of the classic bent plywood chair. The name refers to a chisel, which is reflected in the beveled legs that reflect the craftsmanship and formal language of traditional woodworking.

This upholstered front version combines visual comfort with soft support, thanks to the organically shaped seat and backrest. The chair is made of sustainable wood (beech, oak or walnut) and designed to last for years.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and inviting silhouette, the Chisel Lounge Chair is ideal for both private spaces and public environments such as lobbies, waiting areas and libraries.
