Barcelona Couch - classic version

The Knoll Barcelona Couch, designed in 1930, shares the simple elegance of the iconic Barcelona Chair and exhibits Mies van der Rohe's mastery of line and material. The 72 individual leather panels are hand-sewn and tufted.

Cushions are premium urethane foam with Dacron polyester fill. Upholstery straps are made of cowhide belting leather with aluminum rivets. Timeless Mies van der Rohe quality.

• 72 individual panels are cut, hand-welted, and hand-tufted with leather and buttons produced from a single cowhide
• Cushions are premium quality, fire-retardant, high-resiliency urethane foam with down-like dacron polyester fiberfill
• Upholstery straps are cowhide belting. Sides are dyed to match the specified upholstery color. 11 straps are stretched over a rubber webbing for cushion support
• Matching leather cushion is attached to the cushion platform with belts and snaps
• Legs are polished stainless steel
• Platform is a sapele mahogany wood from Africa, finished with a protective clear lacquer
• The KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are stamped into each piece
• Upholstery can be specified in a wide range of Spinneybeck® leathers
